Enka Gatiga dengu babu ne Madda ki Dandam Pedatha

We're just hours away from the iPhone SE launch, but we're already looking months ahead to the arrival of the iPhone 7 in September.

That's because a possible case for the iPhone 7 has just leaked, along with one for the iPhone SE.

They come courtesy of notorious Apple leaker Sonny Dickson, who sent both to Unbox Therapy. The cases are supposedly "fabricated in advance based on mock-ups of upcoming devices".

In other words, they're based on a spec sheet that could well change, so take both with a hefty pinch of salt.

The iPhone 7 case has a much larger hole for the main camera, suggesting Apple has upgraded the snapper for the iPhone 7.

It also has a redesigned earphone hole – as it stands, it won't take a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

That suggests the rumours are right, and Apple is planning on not letting you use standard headphones with the iPhone 7. Instead you'll likely have to invest in Wi-Fi enabled ones.

If the iPhone SE case is on the money, it will indeed be a 4-inch iPhone, the same size as the iPhone 5 and 5S.

But with some subtle differences – the volume buttons will be in a slightly different position, for one. It will also have a slightly different curve.

Apple says developing such software for the FBI would be unconstitutional and set a dangerous precedent whereby hackers could break into millions of users’ iPhones.

Miller’s remarks come as Apple steps up its fight to win the battle for the public’s trust over encryption and privacy.

In an article for the Washington Post, Apple exec Craig Federighi said: “Once created, this software — which law enforcement has conceded it wants to apply to many iPhones — would become a weakness that hackers and criminals could use to wreak havoc on the privacy and personal safety of us all.”

Apple and the FBI are engaged in a battle at the US Congress in an attempt to break the impasse. Last week a New York judge ruled in Apple’s favour in a separate case, saying it did not have to comply with federal orders to break iPhone encryption.

The LG G5 is much, much more than the iterative update to last year's G4 that you might have expected.

Billed as the phone that could take modular mobiles into the mainstream, it's less a standalone handset than a hub for a range of cool accessories.

Among them is an add-on that allows you to turn the G5 into a controller for drones or a BB-8-style robot. And there are accessories that transform it into a high-end stereo or a nifty standalone camera too.

We gave the G5 and its predecessor the G5 a once-over at MWC and we really liked what we saw.

But what do you think of LG's bid to transform smartphones? Let us know in the comments section.

The much reported iPhone Error 53 glitch, which has rendered thousands of handsets unusable after a software update, is now officially the focus of a class action lawsuit in the US.

Seattle law firm PCVA has followed through on a promise to sue Apple over the error, which affects users who have employed third-party repair store to fix the Touch ID sensor on their phone.

The problem only became apparent, however, after they updated their phones to iOS 9, at which point the handsets were 'bricked'. That is: they were turned into heavy slabs of tech that no longer work.

The class action lawsuit, in which PCVA would represent the interests of thousands of users, could see Apple forced to pay damages to consumers who have lost out as a result of Error 53.

In a statement, PCVA’s Darrell Cochran said: “No materials we've seen from Apple ever show a disclosure that your phone would self-destruct if you download new software onto a phone.

"If Apple wants to kill your phone under any set of circumstances and for any reason, it has to make it crystal clear to its customers before the damage is done."

Apple has faced severe criticism over Error 53. It claims that using a third party to change the Touch ID button, which includes fingerprint scanning technology, puts users’ security at risk.

However, many users have said their devices have failed even when they haven’t had their Touch ID button repaired.

Some claim that Apple is simply using the error as a way of forcing users to have their iPhones fixed at a greater cost in its own high street stores.

Three will freeze the price of calls, texts and data for five years if its mooted merger with O2 is given the green light by regulators.

The network’s UK chairman, Canning Fok, made the vow in a letter to the Financial Times, as part of a wider bid to ensure that the multi–billion pound deal goes ahead.

Fok also said that the savings made from pulling the two huge networks together would be passed on to customers.

However, it's worth noting that Fok is talking about unit prices of calls, texts and data, rather than contract pricing.

That means that while you’ll pay the same rates if you go over your allowance, monthly package costs may still change.

Regulators have already given the green light to the merger between EE and BT. But it seems that the Three-O2 deal is proving a much harder sell.

The Apple Watch 2 will go into trial production this week, with the tech giant's Taiwanese manufacturing partner Quanta charged with assembling the sequel to last year’s smartwatch.

According to Taiwan’s Commercial Times, Quanta will begin manufacturing the device over the next few weeks.

Quanta made the original Apple Watch, although previous reports have suggested that long-term partner Foxconn may also be working on the follow-up.

The news fits neatly with other rumours pointing towards a March launch for the Apple Watch 2.

Word is that Apple will host an event to show off its latest wearable alongside its new budget smartphone, the much rumoured iPhone 6c.

Quanta’s CEO claimed last year that the Apple Watch 2 would be on shelves in the second quarter of 2016, giving Apple time to offer the device on pre–order after its March event.

The Apple Watch 2 is thought to be thinner, with a faster processor and greater independence from the iPhone.

Watch os2, the latest version of the operating system developed specifically for the Apple Watch that was released last year, is also likely to receive a further update when the device is revealed.

The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is Apple's annual jamboree where it shows off what it's been working on over the last 12 months. And now we have a potential date for it.

Mac Rumors has looked into the schedule of Apple's favourite venue for the event, the Moscone West convention centre in San Francisco. While June is looking pretty full, there's one week that's still vacant – the 13-17th.

The conference hall details what else is happening around that week, including a Travel Association Luncheon, a Biotechnology Industry Organisation conference, and the Red Hat Summit. But the third week is conspicuously empty.

Either it's not at liberty to say Apple has booked it until Apple announces the date itself, or Apple is leaving it a little late to reserve the space. We're guessing it's the former.

Apple has held WWDC every year since 2007. It's always in June and always at Moscone West.

The firm is expected to show off iOS 10 (the next iteration of its mobile operating system) and possibly OS X 10.12, which would be its next desktop operating system.

WWDC would come weeks after Google's I/O conference, which is the Android maker's equivalent. Google I/O is set for May 18-20th.

Like WWDC, it will be a software-focussed event, with Google showing off Android N, the next version of its mobile operating system.
